5 Days International Immersion Programme in Thailand for BBA Students from 13^th to 17^th of January 2020.
The School of Commerce and Management has organized 5 days International Immersion Programme Thailand. The program will be conducted from 13th January to 17th January 2020 in Thailand (Bangkok). The program includes a Design Thinking Workshop, Stamford University visit and Industrial Visit to Yakult. The Immersion program will include

• Design Thinking Workshop: 12-13 Hours
• Training Sessions in the Stamford International University
• Certification after completion of the International Immersion Programme

6 Days National Immersion Programme in association with IIM Trichy from 20^th to 25^th of January 2020.
The School of Commerce and Management in association with IIM has organized 6 days National Immersion Programme at IIM Trichy campus. The programme is scheduled from 20^th to 25^th of January 2020. Where 40 students are going to participate in the same. Following are the highlights of the immersion programme.

• Insight on various current topics for MBA students from IIM Faculties.
• 6 days at IIM Trichy campus with access to its resources
• Certification from IIM Trichy after completion of the National Immersion Programme

School of Commerce and Management organized its first International Immersions Program at Singapore from 2^nd to 7^th February, 2018

School of Commerce and Management organized Management Development Program for Yash Metallics, MIDC Kagal, on 20th - 21st January and Rocket Engineering on 10th - 11th March. The topics covered for these MDP were "Innovative Practices in Management" and "Transformational Leadership". The objective of the MDP's is to strengthen Industry - Institute interface by sharing expertise with the Industry on topics related to Management. This would help the Industry to improve its efficiency and performance. The two MDP's were received well by the participants and they have given a very positive response.

"National Level Faculty Development Program (FDP) on "Curriculum Building for Data Science and Business Analytics" was organized from 16^th May to 18^th May, 2018

"Accreditation of Post Graduate Management Program (PGDM, MBA)"- A National Level Faculty Development Program was organized on 19^th and 20^th January, 2018.

Case Study Teaching and Writing"- A two days Faculty Development Programme on "Case Study Teaching And Writing" was conducted on 17th and 18th November 2017, by School of Commerce and Management Sanjay Ghodawat University, Atigre Kolhapur.

School of Commerce and Management in association with TATA Technologies Ltd. organized a Two Day Short Term Course on Product Life Cycle Management on 23^th and 24^th January, 2018

Two Day Short Term course was organized on Stock Trading. Mr. Prashant Shah, SEBI Certified Research Analyst was the resource person. The course was conducted on 20^th and 21^st February 2018 with an objective to introduce the field of stock trading and Secondary markets through proven corporate trainers, opening horizons for management students to conquer investment world.

School of Commerce and Management commenced its academic year with a Three day Orientation program from 17^th to 19^th July 2017 followed by Two days of Industrial visit on 20^th and 21^st July 2017. Various experts from Industry and Academia visited SCM and shared their views and experiences. The Guest speakers included Mr. Devanand Londhe (Chairman, PAYOD Industries Pvt Ltd), Mr. Pratap Puranik (Vice Chairman, CII), Mr. Deepesh Deshmukh (Member of CKP Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Founder and Dean at Global School of Management), Mr. Sachidanand Kulkarni (Vice President-HR & Culture, Webonise Lab, Pune), Mr. Mahesh Rokade (Senior Manager Raymond Zambaiti Ltd).

A National Level Techno-Management Fest "VIBRANT 2K18" was organized on 26th and 27th February 2018. The primary objective of this fest was to share technology, innovations and ideas among student.Students from various nearby colleges and universities participated in this fest. It was a combination of both technical and cultural events. The event was inaugurated in the presence of Mrs. Madhubala Saboo as a chief guest, Mr. Vinayakji Bhosale (Hon. Trustee, SGU), Dr V. A. Raikar (Hon. Vice Chancellor, SGU), Dr B. M. Hirdekar (Hon. Registrar, SGU), Dr. S. M. Shiyekar (Hon. COE, SGU) and Dr V. V. Kulkarni (Hon. Director, SGI). More than 4000 students from all streams participated. Total prize worth of INR 3.25 lacs was distributed in valedictory function on 26 February 2018 to the achievers along with trophies by the hands of Dr. V. A. Raikar (Hon. Vice Chancellor, SGU), Dr B. M. Hirdekar (Hon. Registrar, SGU) and Dr V. V. Kulkarni (Hon. Director, SGI).
