GENERAL PROVISIONS FOR SPORT HOUSES

Interscholastic sports teams composed of boys and/or boys and girls shall be conducted in accordance with these Bylaws. Girls interscholastic sports teams shall be conducted according to these Bylaws, including certain additional rules and modifications pertaining to girls sports teams and mixed (co-educational) sports teams.

Cl 1.1. Participation Commitment: All students enrolling in sports houses must commit to active participation in house-related sports events and activities. Shuffling of house is not permitted in any case throughout your graduation period.

Cl 1.2. House Allocation: House assignments are final and will be made based on a fair and random selection process, ensuring diverse and inclusive representation.

Cl 1.3. Sportsmanship: Students are expected to uphold high standards of sportsmanship, demonstrating respect for teammates, opponents, coaches, and officials always.

Cl 1.4. Uniform Adherence: Students must wear the designated sports house uniform during house events and competitions. Any modifications require prior approval from the house coordinator.

Cl 1.5. Fair Play: Students are encouraged to embrace the principles of fair play, refraining from unsportsmanlike behavior, cheating, or any form of misconduct that may tarnish the reputation of the sports house.

Cl 1.6. Teamwork: Collaboration and teamwork are essential. Students should actively contribute to the success of their sports house by supporting teammates and fostering a positive team spirit.

Cl 1.7. House Spirit: Displaying enthusiasm and pride in one's sports house is essential. Active participation in house rallies, chants, and other spirit-building activities is encouraged.

Cl 1.8. Disciplinary Measures: Violations of rules may result in disciplinary actions, including but not limited to warnings, probation, or temporary suspension from house activities. Repeat offenses may lead to expulsion from the sports house.

Cl 1.9. Health and Safety: Students must prioritize their well-being. Any health concerns or injuries should be reported to the house coach promptly, and appropriate medical clearance may be required before resuming participation.

Cl 1.10. Communication: Students should stay informed about house events, schedules, and announcements through official communication channels. Regular updates will be provided by house coordinators and coaches.
