The Sanjay Ghodawat University (SGU) is established as state private university under Government of Maharashtra Act No. XL of 2017 in the academic year 2017-18. The university have been approved by UGC, the state government. SGU has established its credentials and reputation as a leading private University in the country. School of Pharmaceutical sciences is established in year 2019, under a sprawling Campus of Sanjay Ghodawat University. SGU school of pharmaceutical sciences have been regularly audited and approved by Pharmacy Council of India. Two years program of Diploma in Pharmacy has been started with the aim of to develop a superior academic institute in the field of pharmaceutical sciences and create the value based skillful pharmacist to serve the society.

The Institute with world class infrastructure encompasses of class rooms, well equipped laboratories, conference rooms, digital library, language lab & all other amenities. The institute is fully equipped with the recent technology-based instruments and other facilities to meet the needs of curriculum.

The purpose of the institute to rope students for higher education by offering a platform for their academic, technological and social growth to withstand the challenges of pharmaceutical field.
